Evan's Races
The following is a partial list of the races that I have run. I began to compile all of the data on July 17, 2003 and so some info is lost, but I have tried to include as much as I can from what I remember and what I saved:

May 18, 2003 | Capital City Marathon Olympia, Washington | 26.2 mi 4:35:00 | Marathon State #7; Ran just 6 4-mile runs in preparation; ended up being a pretty easy run in perfect weather; stayed with Lloyds who came with Nina to watch me run; wore #296 and finished #356; race results link |
Feb 18, 2002 | Great Aloha Run Honolulu, Hawaii | 8.15 mi DNR | I did not run this race, but wanted to list it here to pass on a story: I registered for the Great Aloha Run during my first trip to Hawaii - Our trip was cut short when my mother passed away - in anticipation of my departure and inability to run the race, I went to the expo to pick up the race t-shirt and was told that they would not give it to me until I finished the race - I told 3 different people the reason that I would not be able to run the race and all 3 refused to give me a t-shirt - an email to a race organizer later was also ignored. |
